Dressed in one of the most heritage-valued  facades in the city, El Gabinete Literario is located in Cairasco Square, near Triana Street. In its elegant French-style interior, cultural events and artistic manifestations are held, both musical, literary and painting . In addition, El Gabinete Literario contains a collection of oil paintings from the beginning of the 20th century by the painter Eliseo Meifrén Roig that, along with the three large canvases that decorate the ceiling thanks to Manuel González Méndez, will not leave you indifferent. 

Presiding over La Playa de Las Canteras is the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, named after the Canarian tenor and singing teacher, Alfredo Kraus Trujillo. Designed to be a lighthouse, it is worth highlighting its representative architecture of the sea and La Playa de Las Canteras. This space, home to the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, hosts the Canary Islands Music Festival and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival every year.
